So we all know the Bears are playing the Packers for the NFC Championship this Sunday, and if there is one thing sports fans like to do besides drinking, it’s gambling. Governor Pat Quinn has already set up a “friendly wager” with Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, which suprisingly doesn’t inolve shipping sausages and pizza around. The loser will have to volunteer at a food pantry in the winner’s state. Plus the loser will have to display the winning team’s flag in his office. While that has the potential for a good photo op, we are much more interested in the bet made by Phillip Foss and John des Rosiers.
Foss, a Wisconsin native and Green Bay Packers fan, challenged Bears’ fan John des Rosiers to a food truck challenge. If the Bears win, Foss will head out to Inovasi in the Northern suburbs, and serve his famous meatball sandwiches at the bar. If the Packers win, des Rosiers will have to invent his very own meatball sandwich to serve on the Meatyballs Mobile.
