The Times Pats Dennis Leary on the Back for Snagging the House of Shields

Turns out, local entrepreneur Dennis Leary (Canteen, The Golden West, The Sentinel) is a slow-and-steady, determined sort of dude, and the Times reports on the multi-year story of Leary’s interest in the House of Shields. As it happens, he only took out the lease on the sandwich shop next door in order to keep a lookout on the historic bar, whose lease was running out in 2010 — and hence the name: The Sentinel.
