Remember when we told you that hip-hop Avenue chef Roblé Ali would serve chicken-and-waffle sliders at Tammany Hall? Well, the plot (and the plaque in your arteries) thickens. A source inside the forthcoming club-restaurant informs us that Ali is now developing an all-sliders menu, with fillings like gumbo, meatballs, something veggie, and yes, chicken-and-waffles.

Grub Street also hears that Tammany’s drinks menu is in development by Simon Ford (of Cocktail Collective fame) and Jamie Gordon (who did the drinks list for LevantEast at the nearby Hotel on Rivington). Details on that are “still under discussion and brainstorming,” but since both men work for Pernod Ricard, it seems safe to assume the green fairy will make an appearance when the venue opens sometime next month.
