You know how we told you about Pause, which is moving in on the CAV space at 1666 Market? Well, we heard back from owner Chris Tavelli, who also owns Yield Wine Bar in Dogpatch, and he tells us that Pause “will be similar to Yield with unique wines from around the world and food with a vegetarian focus.” Pause’s menu will be bigger than the one at Yield, taking advantage of the full kitchen at the new location.
Furthermore, he says, “I hope the comfortable yet sophisticated vibe of Yield will carry over to Pause but I look forward to seeing how Pause develops its own personality.”
The Tavellis are aiming for a February 1 opening. Update: They may be open as soon as this week or next. [Grub Street]
