Last evening, Diner’s Journal brought word that David Chang and Peter Meehan will release the first edition of a quarterly iPad app and print journal called Lucky Peach in April. Among other things, the app will include an interactive bowl of ramen loaded with recipes, a ramen-factory tour, cooking demos, and appearances by Wylie Dufresne, Charlie Rose, and Anthony Bourdain. The print journal, meanwhile, will be published by McSweeney’s. Back in the real world, Eater, EV Grieve, and the Lo-Down notice that Community Board 3’s meeting agenda has been posted online, and team Momofuku has applied for a license at 251 East 13th Street, across from Milk Bar. According to Eater, “The folks at Momo Milk are considering taking up the space, for an expansion or to move the operation, but have yet to sign a lease or nail anything down.”
