Michael’s Embraces Mixology and Taco Trends

Santa Monica’s Michael’s introduces a guest-mixology series tomorrow night, the first of which features The Yard’s Blake Landis and William Perbellini from new Bar Toscana. But what really has us excited is the menu, specifically tacos stuffed with pork belly, rock shrimp with sriracha creme fraiche, and duck confit with stilton. Sounds promising, and really, has anything at Michael’s ever been priced at $12 before? We only pray this taco trio doesn’t succumb to the horrors of store-bought tortillas (they’re using Diana’s). We’re crossing our fingers they’re made in-house, meanwhile, check out the cocktail and bar bites menu for tomorrow night below.
