Komodo is joining the brick-and-mortar movement according to Eater, taking cover (maybe from that big ol’ food snow-cat) in a restaurant space at Pico and Robertson. It doesn’t have us quite as excited as the days that Kogi debuted Chego, but Komodo does have a fan Andrew Zimmeren (who, it will be noted, will eat anything) and a built-in market from customers at The Joint. Expect an expanded selection of their Asian-inspired street food menu sometime in February, possibly around the time The Flying Pig Truck makes it late-February brick-and-mortar debut on Downtown’s Central Street with Flying Pig Cafe.

Do you think the trucks will have an easy-time off-roading? We’d love to know your thoughts.
