The Stew was so ” jealous” of New York’s Eataly — Mario Batali’s grand new food hall to all things Italian — that they decided to put together a list of Chicago’s own offerings just to console themselves. There was no consensus, but Pete’s Fresh Market, Whole Foods, and…um…Target all made the cut. Luckily Phil Vettel picked the “amazing breads, top-quality produce, fish and beef” at Fox & Obel, which may be “too obvious,” but “what’s not to love?” [The Stew]
