An eagle-eyed viewer spotted some interesting product placement on this week’s episode of FX’s Sons of Anarchy: a Jameson-branded juice box. Hey, this seems like a good idea! Unfortunately, a rep for Pernod Ricard, which owns Jameson (and just about everything else), told us that the whole thing’s just “a joke” and assures us it’s not a real product. Well, why not?! After all, wine’s been sold in juice boxes for years. Surely the powers that be at Pernod must see there’s a potentially huge untapped audience that would like a convenient way to sneak whiskey into movie theaters and on beach outings.
