Bulgogi Bento Box

The Bento Box opened quietly a few weeks ago on Armitage Ave. in Bucktown. Though the menu touches on Korean, Thai, Indian, and Japanese, the owners claim they wanted to offer an “alternative to the typical Pan-Asian selections.” They do this by only offering four to five different entrées at one time, allowing them to focus on each dish. Luckily, the menu also changes weekly, though we were told that some items will hang around for a while. The most popular item is the spicy beef bolgogi bento box, which comes with their housemade kimchi. Many of the items also feature curry pastes, which are all made in house. Take a look at our slideshow at this week’s offerings, along with the full menu below.
