Everyone knows a guy (or gal!) who aspires to work the bar at Pegu Club or Death & Co., who uses the term “mixologist” un-ironically, who takes you to Little Branch or Dram and tells you that you just have to try some drink made with Chartreuse that originated during Prohibition and was also traditionally made with the bathtub gin of the era or whatever.
