There’s A New Chef in Town at Temple Bar

Greg Boschetti is the new executive chef at Cambridge’s warm-cozy-sure-why-not-have-another-martini?-these-booths-are-so-comfy! Temple Bar. Before climbing the Temple Bar ranks from sous to chef de cuisine, he was at Chez Henri. He replaces Michael Scelfo, who’s been busy with Russell House Tavern.

And, gosh darn it, his signature dishes just make us want to slip into a turtleneck and something from LL Bean: seared statler chicken breast with pumpkin gnocchi, garlicky Swiss chard and smoked apple Cider chicken demi; a grilled maple-brined pork loin with wild mushroom risotto, bourboned crab apples and a caramelized apple cider reduction; and yuzu citrus tuna tartar with spicy cucumber, avocado mousse, housemade pickled ginger, and sesame rice crackers are among his specialties.
