The Corner, the new effort from Raw’s Tony Rim and former Buddakan chef Scott Swiderski that’s opening tonight in the former APO space on 13th Street, soft-opened last night. The restaurant and bar’s first floor features a cozy dining room, an open kitchen and a kitchen counter where diners can sit, eat and get an up-close view of Swiderski and Sous Chef John “Chainsaw” Taus in action. Upstairs has a more loungey vibe with a bar and an outdoor patio, which wasn’t open last night because it was snowing. Click through to peep photos of the space and some of its dishes.
