Last week Grub Street mentioned that Stephen Starr’s new pub at 18th and Sansom was going to be called Dandelion, and it was expected to open before Christmas. Work on the multi-level pub that straddles two properties continues to go full speed ahead, but the Insider is saying that the pub is more likely to open December 27, but what we’re guessing will be a soft opening, could happen Christmas Eve. Other details include highlights of chef Robert Aikens’ menu, which will include charcuterie, duck bolognese with pappardelle and fried duck egg and braised beef short rib and onion cottage pie.
