The future of fast food in South L.A. hangs in the balance today as L.A. City Council prepares for a Wednesday vote on whether the moratorium banning new establishments should be upheld, following its expiration in September. So far, it looks like the ban on cheap, greasy, unhealthy eats will remain as a council committee is recommending it stay.
