So here’s the deal with the new Red Lion, which had a soft opening in Lincoln Square over the weekend: Though it has the same name and features one of the same partners from the original Red Lion in Sheffield, think of this as more of an outlet. The original closed over the summer, but according to Urban Daddy, there is still a chance that it could reopen at the same address. The new one in Lincoln Square is slightly smaller, and is BYO for at least the next month. Expect a menu complete with British classics like fish and chips and shepherd’s pie. [Urban Daddy, Metromix]
