Put away the Ritz cracker hors d’oeuvres and sparkling apple cider — we can break out the good stuff again! A USA Today story says people are spending money on New Year’s once more. At least according to people who sell things like Champagne and truffles: The National Association for the Specialty Food Trade reports “brisk” sales of foie gras, truffles, and lobster. Phew!
