Well, it’s finally happened, despite our protests and tears. The owners of Backstage Bar have replaced Del’s Saloon with a faux dive called Mom’s Bar. Sounds like this is more for the collegiate set than those lacking their full set of teeth, what with their apple pie cocktails, food trucks, loose seating arrangement, and shiny surfaces. We probably wouldn’t be happy with anything replacing Del’s, but hey, at least the drinks are priced much lower than if Busby’s had the run of the place. [Urban Daddy]
