We told you in September that Lucali, Jay-Z’s fave Brooklyn pizzeria, was looking Manhattan-ward. Yesterday Eater spied an address in licensing paperwork released by Community Board 2, and now a call to the restaurant confirms the new location. Lucali Kenmare, slated to open on Kenmare between Mott and Elizabeth Streets (that’s really close to Lombardi’s!), is waiting for approvals, and an employee at the original Brooklyn outpost tells us it will be run by owner Mark Iacono’s brother. Wait, the same brother opening Giuseppina’s … someday? (It’s not yet open.) Let’s hope this new one moves at a Manhattan pace!
