Santa Monica’s La Grande Orange is taking over the neighboring Main Street space once occupied by Goudas and Vines. Although a notice on the window calls the move an expansion by the existing restaurant, LGO’s people tell us that the space will become a pizza restaurant under the company. This fall, LGO opened The Luggage Room in Pasadena, itself a wood-burning pizza spot so-named for the train depot it resides at. Seeing as there’s also an LGO in Pasadena, we’re expecting a cross-city exchange program is possibly at play. The restaurant is expected to open in two to three months, stay tuned for an update to find out exactly what’s coming.
