For a few years, rumors have swirled about an IHOP in Times Square, and now it looks like it’ll finally become a reality. The 1,500-restaurant chain has announced a development agreement that will result in 24 new locations in the New York metropolitan area. “Times Square is missing that something special IHOP will bring,” says Ben Ashkenazy, of the operating group. “And why stop at Times Square — we’re going to expand IHOP throughout the New York metropolitan area.” Oh, goody.
