Changes afoot in the Marina: Grub Street discovers today that Gravity Room (3251 Scott Street, where that gang member got shot after the World Series win) appears to be closing sometime after the new year, and will be taken over by absinthe aficionado and Tortilla Heights owner Paul Owens, who looks to be turning it into something called Gypsy Tea Room. Apart from the fact that they will serve booze, and not just tea, we don’t know much just yet and are awaiting details from Owens. We assume, however, that it will not be affiliated with New York club Gypsy Tea, which sounds pretty douchey. [Grub Street]
