Yes, we all know you can’t take liquids through airport security checkpoints — now it sounds like you’ll have a tough time taking containers for liquids through them as well. The Homeland Security Department is letting airlines know about a potential terror threat that involves “insulated beverage containers.” Probably not a big deal for most people, since one rarely feels the need to pack a Thermos full of coffee before a big flight, but what if you wanted to bring soup aboard? We’ve always been unclear on whether that even qualifies as a liquid. [USAT]
