We always knew The Southern took its fried chicken seriously. How else do you explain the need to call 24 hours ahead of time to secure it? Well, the restaurant has made things a little easier. You still need to call a day in advance, but now you can get the signature fried chicken dinner to go. It’ll cost $19 a person, but luckily that price also includes buttermilk biscuits, collard greens, mashed potatoes, gravy, black-eyed peas, and hot sauce. Oh, and if you’re more in the mood for a quicker chicken meal, but don’t want to wait around for that chain, on Tuesday through Friday the restaurant is offering mini chicken sandwiches for only a dollar between 5 and 7 p.m. [RIA]
