Over on Diner’s Journal, Sam Sifton has it that Zak Pelaccio will close his Mexican-ish joint Cabrito before the end of the year and open a more “grown-up-ish” Fatty concept in the space. We also hear that Pelaccio and his Fatty Crew are packing their bags and heading to the Caribbean to open a Fatty Crab location in St. John (that’s the island, not the Fergus Henderson restaurant in London) next year.
