New owner Reza Esmaili has decided to delay the name and concept change at Long Bar (2298 Fillmore) until after the holidays, and will be closing briefly in January for the planned remodel/makeover, as Eater now reports. A new, interim menu has rolled out, however, with the help of consulting chef Erik Hopfinger, and as we reported before it’s all pretty straight-ahead, American comfort food with a few gourmet touches. We’re particularly attracted to the mini Mediterranean burgers with beef and lamb, feta, and yogurt dip; and the Buffalo chicken meatballs stuffed with blue cheese. See it all below.
