Due Lire is set to open today for dinner in Lincoln Square. The traditional Italian restaurant is being run by Napoli native Massimo Di Vuolo, who has done previous stints at Bice and Gioco. The menu focuses mainly on small plates and appetizers. That includes a collection of crostini, salads, and homemade pastas. Talking to Chicago Magazine a few weeks ago, Di Vuolo said he wanted the restaurant to “have that kind of cozy, warm feeling like going to someone’s house in Italy.” Due Lire is taking the spot of Chelsea Grill, which closed earlier this year.
