What to Eat

What to Eat at Dcantr, Possibly Opening Next Week

Photo: Eater

Next week is the week of casual off-shoots, with Michelin-starred Quince opening their casual café Cotogna, and newly Michelin-starred Saison opening Dcantr, their wine bar in the Stable Café with an à la carte menu that’s also now available on the outdoor terrace. Eater brings us the menu from chef Joshua Skenes, which has a number of the local and refined flourishes one finds on Saison’s prix fixe, but perhaps assembled with a few less tweezers. We’re looking forward to trying Josh’s take on a “little chicories caesar,” not to mention the fried sand dabs with ember-roasted Orion fennel, and the Prather Ranch rib-eye, also grilled over the embers.

They’re aiming for a November 9 opening, but that could still get pushed. Update: This menu is only available in Dcantr, however items off the Saison prix fixe menu may be ordered à la carte on the outdoor terrace on weeknights.
