Also this week, every night through Sunday, Grand Café is doing the first of a series of regional French menus, this one a tribute to Bordeaux. Executive chef Sophiane Benaouda will be preparing a special selection of dishes from the region, like its signature terrines and patés, with Bordeaux wine pairings, all for $62. And finally, tomorrow night (November 3) Fifth Floor is offering an opportunity to sample food from new executive chef David Bazirgan, along with a “bottle battle” of wine pairings from Napa and Sonoma. As Tablehopper reports, “Master Sommelier Emily Wines will join Fifth Floor sommelier Amy Goldberger for this three-course dinner (with a sweet ending).
