Earlier on we told you about the fab series of guest-chef dinners that have become an annual December tradition up at Meadowood, called the Twelve Days of Christmas. The dinners kick off on Friday, and today we discover that there are still a couple of seats left at a few of them, and we thought you might like to know. It’s true, you won’t be able to sample the Michelin-three-star stylings of executive chef Christopher Kostow on these nights (he cooks the final night of the series, and that is sold out), but you can ring in the holidays with extra-special, one-time-only menus from other great chefs you’d otherwise have to get on a plane to try out (or in the case of Jeremy Fox, wait until he opens his own restaurant), along with wine pairings from a specific Napa vintner. Part of the proceeds for the dinners goes to benefit Share Our Strength, and Chef Kostow will be in the kitchen helping out throughout. Day 3, Tuesday, December 7: Chef Roland Passot of La Folie, paired with wines from Silver Oak and Twomey Cellars
Day 6, Friday, December 10: Chef Mark Fuller of Spring Hill in Seattle, paired with wines from Melka Wines
Day 7, Saturday, December 11: Chef Linton Hopkins of Restaurant Eugene, Atlanta, paired with wines from VIADER
Day 8, Tuesday, December 14: Chef Trey Foshee of Georges at the Cove, La Jolla, paired with wines from Duckhorn Wine Company
Day 9, Wednesday, December 15: Chef Jeremy Fox of the Tyler Florence Group, paired with wines from Araujo Estate
Day 11, Friday, December 17: Chefs Nancy Silverton and Matt Molina of Osteria Mozza in L.A., paired with wines from PlumpJack, CADE Winery, Beckstoffer Vineyards
