Listicles involving drinks are something we can get behind, and Tasting Table just unleashed a trio of lists of the best cocktails to be had in cities they cover. In San Francisco, where they note that it “requires effort to drink badly at this point,” they’re big fans of the Airmail at Beretta and the Kerouac Cocktail at the Burritt Room, and they give nods to classics too, like the Irish coffee at Buena Vista Café. In New York, it’s all about the Concord Companion at PDT, and the Chupacabra at Fatty ‘Cue. And in Chicago, they give nods to the Pago Pago at Gilt, and the Pisco Sour at The Bristol. There are even cocktail maps for each city, providing traveling cocktail geeks a terrific excuse for a drunken scavenger hunt. Of course, for anyone who doesn’t live in the cities (or who prefers to drink at home), recipes are included, too. [TT]
