Talesai’s New Night+Market Brings Thai Street Food Indoors

If you’ve traveled around East Asia and managed to dodge the mopeds screaming at you from every direction, you’ve likely strolled along ubiquitous night markets selling edible specialties, cheap trinkets, and an urban outdoor social experience. With the nightly festivals of Thailand in mind, Kris Yenbamroong, the owner of Sunset’s Talesai is unveiling a new restaurant of communal tables called Night+Market this Thursday in a neighboring space. Getting the jump on Sang Yoon’s Lukshon, the restaurant will serve craft brews alongside regional nibbles like grilled pig’s collar, fried chicken wings with a chile dip, and sausages in the style of Northern Thailand’s Chaing Mai, according to L.A. Times. The restaurant soft-opens at 6:00 P.M. this Thursday and will initially go to midnight before possibly expanding its hours.

Night+Market, 9041 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood. 310-275-9724.
