For those of you who can’t afford regular outings to Menton, good news. UrbanDaddy’s reporting that Mexican restaurant Papagayo is primed to open in Fort Point Channel next week, where the late, lamented Persephone once stood. Hopefully this spot sticks around longer; the location has been plagued by woes. It sounds promising, at least: There’s 240 seats, 80-plus tequilas, and mariachi music to put you in a festive mood if the booze doesn’t do the trick. There’s a private tequila tasting table, too.
