Lobsta Truck Lobster Roll Turns Out To Be Mere Finger Food

Oh food trucks, so full of promise…Hometown Pasadena took a first bite of Lobsta Truck at its soft-launch, witnessing a nearby restaurant owner promising operators that “there’s going to be blood trouble.” While we were pretty stoked to catch wind of an eleven-dollar lobster roll, the early word is that, while the morsel is a “fresh” “nice snack,” it is unfortunately also the size of the writer’s index finger. Also, the wait is long and the clam chowder isn’t exactly overflowing with clams. The final assessment is: “Prices are big, portions are small, and”–as we’ve said ourselves too many times when trying a food truck– “while the food is good, it’s not that good.” [Hometown Pasadena]
