“With any luc,” twitters Le Truc co-founder and chef Hugh Schick, “We’ll be open at our permanent location (south park) in a few days.” What this means, everyone, is that their cool point-of-sale system on the outside of the bus must be ready to roll, and that they’ve found a spot that will have them on a regular basis. The bustaurant will still take part in Off the Grid events, and may still be looking for bars outside of which they can park in the evening hours after that Blackbird/Lucky 13 deal fell through. There also seems to be a hint of uncertainty still (probably due to permits), so we wouldn’t be surprised if the South Park appearance gets delayed.
