Frida, Guelaguetza, Casita Mex, and Monarca Unite for 200 Years of Mexico’s Cuisine

Guelaguetza, Frida, Casita Mexicana, and La Monarca Bakery are banding together as The Taste of Mexico Association to celebrate “200 Years of Mexico’s Cuisine” and raise funds for Heal the Bay on December 4th. The event will be held at Downtown’s St. Vibiana Cathedral and offer unlimited tastings from each restaurant, which will prepare full menus featuring over 35 regional dishes from different Mexican states. This will also include a cultural experience featuring live music, dancing from Jalisco and Oaxaca, an art auction and exhibit, tastings of mezcal, tequila, and beer, and an ultimate hour of mariachi. Tickets are $75 advance and $100 at the door, which will leave you with a gift bag, and of course, the memories. Find the full menus, tickets, and full details online. 6:00-10:00 P.M., December 4th, at 214 S. Main St.
