Next Wednesday at Cicada, powerhouse restaurants Guelaguetza and Rivera will cook alongside Pinches Tacos, Frida, and La Serenata de Garibaldi for an event called “ROJO: A Celebration of Life, Hope and Community Achievements.” The ceremony is being held by The Wall Las Memorias Project, promoting healthy living among Latinos affected by HIV/AIDS. The $75 ticket goes to support a hospice in Tijuana and will honor guests like Benjamin Bratt for his work on the San Francisco-based film La Mission, in which the actor tries hard to get his Danny Trejo on.
