Not literally, but Garces Trading Company’s newly introduced expanded line of Meals To Go are perhaps the next best thing to the Iron Chef coming to your house and cooking a dinner for you. The weekly changing dinners for two pack all the components of Garces-created dishes into one prepackaged box. Each element comes in a vacuum-sealed bag, which can be easily reheated by simply placing it in boiling water. Heating instructions are included with each meal.
Upcoming Meals To Go include Beef Bourguignon with truffle faro, wild mushrooms, honey glazed baby carrots and red wine jus (available October 25 through October 31), Agro Dolce Baby Back Ribs with lentils and glazed baby turnips (available November 1 through November 7), Half Roasted Long Island Duck with autumn squash puree, chestnut bread pudding and sour cherry jus (available November 8 through November 14) and Coq au Vin with honey-glazed carrots, herb fingerling potatoes and chicken-thyme jus (available November 15 through November 24).
