Earlier we wondered whether fried blowfish tails might become the season’s unexpected micro-trend, and now we’re told Oceana is doing a $29 “Blowfish, Oysters, and Beer” special, featuring half a dozen oysters, a mug of beer, and “inventive and flavorful” chicken-fried blowfish. It’s official. Though the restaurant might want to inform its Twitter intern that the name of the dish is chicken-fried blowfish, not “BLOWFISH FRIED CHICKEN!”
