Former Boqueria chef Seamus Mullen (recently replaced by Marc Vidal) has yet to announce his next gig, but he’s cooking on the Lower East Side for three nights. Alan Philips, creator of the Hunger pop-up restaurant series, is hosting a dinner that will evoke “the speakeasies and chophouses that provided cultural revolutionaries with a place to kick back and indulge throughout the Prohibition.” Mullen will prepare a four-course meal while Ben Demarchelier handles the cocktails. The $88 dinners take place October 21-23 at a secret location, naturally.
