RH At Andaz Welcomes The Avenues and ‘Taste Art’

“The Avenues” is holding a series of dinners at WeHo restaurants to riff on the relationship between art and cuisine. No, not those Avenues! Apparently, this is a marketing term for the “art, fashion, and design” district of West Hollywood, though kinda like H.P.’s Avenues, a press release tells us “they hope to expand to other territories in the future.” Ten cuidado! Anyway, the above-named WeHo shopping district recently kicked off a series called Taste Art and their next stop is RH at Andaz next Tuesday, where chef Sebastien Archambault will prepare a set menu with wine pairings designed to thrill diners’ palates, while a gallery setting displays the work of artist Roni Stretch. The full five-course menu, from a poached quail egg amuse bouche to a Petaluma poached chicken breast and mille feuille with berries, can be viewed in its entirety below. While we ponder whether New York restaurant Florencia 13 would ever participate, you can make reservations for the $180 event online.
