The Monster Slice

Papa Ray’s Pizza and Wings, which opened back in April in Logan Square, is set to open up a second outlet in Uptown. It’s taking over the space of a mysterious restaurant called S&L; Grill, which the Uptown Update claims opened in January, but apparently didn’t do so well. Anyway, Ray’s sells a variety of dishes, including ribs and wings, but what it is really known for is the monster slice. It’s as large as a normal lunch tray and yet only costs $3.99 with a drink. We’ve yet to find a bigger slice in the city, but we are willing to look for it if you can think of one. [Uptown Update]
