Will Peel take the whole contest?

This afternoon, DineLA’s “Quickfire Series” comes to an end that resembles Jeopardy’s “Tournament of Champions.” All the winners of the past few weeks’ cook-offs–Mark Peel, Eric Greenspan, Octavio Becerra, and Akira Hirose–will face-off at Downtown’s Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill for a final showdown over dessert. Starting at 6:00 P.M. and open to the public, the chefs’ sweet things will be judged by pastry heavyweights Sherry Yard, Evan Kleiman, and Russ Parsons. 800 West Olympic Blvd. Downtown.
