Rumors were floating around recently that Bruce Marder’s closed Brass Cap space would soon be occupied by a new restaurant. This morning, Hungry Cat chef-owner David Lentz lets us knows that he’ll be moving into the PCH-adjacent Channel Road space with a new Westside location of Hungry Cat. The restaurant is planned to open “after the first of the year,” while currently Lentz is preparing for next month’s L.A. Loves Alex’s Lemonade Stand fundraiser with wife Suzanne Goin and partner Caroline Styne, The Great Chefs-inspired event that is shaping up to be an epic culinary fete at Culver Studios on November 7th.
