Last month we tempted you with tales of its donut muffins. And at long last, Geoffrey’s Cafe reopens today in the old Laurel space at 142 Berkeley Street, Boston Restaurant Talk reports. The comfort-food spot, known for its addictive brunch, never stays put for long: Previous incarnations existed on Boylston, Tremont, and Commonwealth. Most recently, Geoffrey’s decamped to Roslindale. (Don’t despair, Rozzie residents: That location is staying put.) Dinner service kicks off tonight, with lunch commencing on October 18.
