Biba, the “spunky little cousin” of Tria that Grub Street said was going to open in University City by the end of August, is gearing up for an opening on Friday, according to its website. Though smaller than it predecessors at 18th and Sansom and 12th and Spruce, Biba will follow in their footsteps, serving noteworthy wines and beers alongside cheese, charcuterie and sweets. [Biba]
