This Saturday, Cube is throwing a rooftop barbecue called Pork ‘n Beans, a non-profit fundraiser for farm-to-table education for L.A. families. But in typical Cube fashion, this is no ordinary pig-out or bean-blast. A menu utilizes the heirloom products of Fatted Calf Charcuterie and Rancho Gordo, respectively, to come up with dishes like garlic-brined Pork Shoulder and grilled sausages on artisan rolls and nopales salad with midnight black beans, and even a collaboration dish using Gordo’s cowboy beans with Fatted Calf’s bacon. Head honchos from both companies will be on-hand to talk shop. In addition to the massive, aforementioned protein party, $65 advance and $75 at the door buys you twisted Southern sides, dessert, homemade lemonade, and a choice of two craft beers or Italian wine per person. Check out the full menu below, along with details on reserving tickets.
