Chicago’s original Baconfest is heading for the big leagues. After last year’s event in the quaint Stan Mansion, the “Bigger, Better, and More Bacontastic” Baconfest 2011, will take place on April 9 in the epic UIC Forum. What does this all mean? Well, apparently it’s just an excuse for more cured pork: “Audience capacity greatly increased, more chefs, more vendors and generally more Bacon fireworks all around.” Tickets will go on sale in “early 2011,” as will the complete list of vendors. Check out all of the porky details after the jump.
