Danny Meyer’s folks have announced Shake Shack’s next location. Sorry, Boston and everyone else who wants a Shack — the next one will open in the “idyllic coastal town of Westport, Connecticut” in the second half of 2011. In a press release, Union Square Hospitality Group touts this as their first opportunity to open something more along the lines of the “classic roadside burger stand” that inspired the Madison Square Park location. Including the recently announced D.C. and Battery Park outposts, this’ll be Shake Shack’s eighth location.
