
If Brad Spence is as psyched about his fall menu as Grub Street said he was yesterday, then he’s surely beside himself today with Bon Appetit including Amis in its roundup of America’s best restaurants for pasta. Though Andrew Knowlton inadvertently snubs Spence in the piece, crediting only Marc Vetri for the restaurant’s “simple Roman-style pastas,” he gushes over such dishes as tonnarelli cacio e pepe, pecorino and black pepper, and bucatini alla gricia, pork belly, chili flakes, and pecorino.
